Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Is there any consultation being done prior the appointment?

Yes. The artist needs to assess your skin and undertone colors and tell you know which service works best for you. The technician needs to know about your skin type, lifestyle, environmental factors, your hobbies. The client has the option to get their consultation done in person or virtual, before the appointment. Consultation is free of charge.

2. Is the permanent make up procedure painful?

Not at all. A slight discomfort is felt for the first couple of minutes and then a numbing cream is applied after the first pass. Most clients are relating the feeling with tweezing the brow area.

3. What can I expect when I arrive?

A medical form is required to be filled prior the service. After that, the color will be chosen together (DSP Brows & Beauty uses hypo-allergenic organic pigments). Then, the technician draws the shape of your brows accordingly to your natural bone pattern and features for the client's approval. The artist will start the procedure and at the end will provide you with the aftercare sheet and supplies needed for the healing period of time (4-6 weeks).

4. How my eyebrows will look like after the appointment and during the first week?

Right after your appointment your brows will look lovely , but defined and a little bit darker. The pigment will soften about 40%-50%. The first week is the crucial time when the client needs to follow the aftercare step by step. Days 2-5 brows appear more darker, as the scab starts to form and you will no longer see the true color of the pigment. Days 6-10 you will see the scab falling. The most IMPORTANT detail when brows are healing is NOT TO PICK THE SCAB! Days 10-12 you will notice a very light pigment due to a thin layer of scar tissue. Days 12-21 the real pigment color comes back and you will get your final brow look.

5. Is there any deposit required in order to book an appointment?

Yes. A deposit of $100 is required to schedule your permanent make up service.
